I get a lot of messages from this book. One of the message that I get from this book was that you have to get respect from the people. I got that message from lennie, everybody treats him bad, and the other guys didn’t give him the respect that they give George. The other message that I got from this book was that a guy need somebody. That a guy or a person that gets lonely, gets sick. That a person or a guy gets nut if he doesn’t have anybody. I think that this book was written for the homeless because he doesn’t have anybody just the other people who are just like them. Also I think it written for those people who feel lonely. I think that he was successful in getting the message across because there are a lot of people who feel lonely and there are a lot of people that don’t have anybody.

This story has a lot of good point. One of the point is that it talk about loneliness and need of a men which are good point to talk about. This novel talks about two men who have nothing but each other. This novel tells you that a guy gets lonely, he gets sick. Also a guy gets nut if he doesn’t have anybody. I think a friend should read this novel because it has a lot of good message that can help them, if they feel lonely.

This novel is part of a series because the author has other novel such as " The Pearl", "The Red Pony", and Cannary Row". I think that John Steinbeck novels are very interesting because it gives you a lot of messages. Also I would like to read more novel by this author.

I think this novel help me understand that a men need, somebody. This also help me understand how hard is the life of the homeless and the life of those people who feel lonely.
